“This month’s Buckmore club meeting was my second ever time at the track and my first this year. On Sunday morning Qualifying was bad in the wet after being very fast in the dry in Saturday practice.

In the heat I started 11th and finished 11th, and wasn’t going well on a drying track on wets. I was fast at the end though.

In the Prefinal I started 11th and finished ninth – dropping back at the start but again was quick at the end.

In the Final I was very fast and into sixth after the first lap, but retired after a racing incident with Browing on lap two where we were both committed to the corner and not prepared to give it up.

The positives were that I was fast on Saturday and I was very happy with the team’s effort, and was also very good on Sunday by the Final. I was fast at the start after listening to Jason’s advice and “making the opportunities to pass” for myself.
